Bizarre and surreal — that's what fans have to say about David Lynch's film 'What Did Jack Do?', a 17-minute short film on Netflix about a man interrogating a monkey, who is suspected of murder.

Yes, you read that right! Viewers don't know if their head is in the right place after watching this, but seem to have genuinely enjoyed the film.

A fan tweeted, "I spent 17 minutes watching a man interrogate a monkey, and somehow my life is a little bit improved." Another fan said that the monkey was much cuter than Baby Yoda from 'The Mandalorian'. "Who cares about Baby Yoda when this exists?"

"David Lynch interrogating a suit-wearing monkey who is in love with a chicken has slayed me to the core," tweeted another fan. Some fans even seemed rather perplexed at the entire premise. "I feel like I'm insufficiently medicated for this..."

Another shared, "Have y'all grok'd #DavidLynch's WHAT DID JACK DO? #WhatDidJackDo on #Netflix? Watched that earlier today - primo wacky Lynch surrealism - just 17 minutes - it's a great bit of odd cool."

"This week was sh*t, but I got to see #DavidLynch talk to a monkey, so there’s that!" tweeted a fan.

Some believe that only David Lynch could have pulled this off. "I’ve just watched 17mins of David Lynch interrogating a small monkey in a suit... if it was anyone else but Lynch I don’t think I'd want to watch it again, but it is and I do ... I so do!" a fan wrote.

"I just finished the @DAVID_LYNCH@netflix film #WhatDidJackDo and I think I have brain damage from the concussion. There’s no coming back whole from this one. I’m calling this a Gordon Cole interrogates the monkey who says, 'Judy Clio, straight out of Cooper's dream," tweeted a rather confused fan.

Another tweeted, "Just watched #WhatDidJackDo what an amazing 17mins! #DavidLynch is extraordinary."

Well, we do live in strange times. Those familiar with David Lynch's works like 'Twin Peaks', would have expected nothing less than eccentric from the acclaimed filmmaker. Check it out on Netflix.
