LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Keke Palmer has broken her silence on social media after her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, publicly criticized her outfit at Usher's Las Vegas concert. In a series of posts on Twitter, Jackson expressed his disapproval of Palmer's attire, emphasizing his belief that as a mother, she should not showcase "booty cheeks" to please others. 

Posting a collection of photos in a sheer black dress over a matching thong bodysuit from the event, Keke captioned the images, “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late. I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself?? @noraradd."

'Don’t let baby daddy dictate what you wear'

Palmer and Jackson welcomed their son, Leodis, in February. The couple met at a Memorial Day party in 2021 and made their relationship Instagram official later in the year. While her response did not directly reference her boyfriend's remarks, her fans rallied behind her, urging her not to let anyone dictate her fashion choices.

The controversy surrounding Palmer's outfit unfolded when Jackson commented on a video of her at the concert, expressing his disapproval by stating, "It's the outfit tho... you a mom." In subsequent tweets he defended his stance, highlighting his beliefs about family.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” the father of one tweeted following the backlash, adding, “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
