If you are a fan of western dramas and want to see something new from the genre, then The CW is coming out with a series that will completely blow your mind away. Titled ‘Walker: Independence’, the series is set in the late 1800s and primarily focuses on the life of Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara), an affluent woman from Boston whose husband is killed right before her eyes while they were on a journey to the west.

One day, she meets a man named Hoyt Rawlins (Matt Barr) and they embark on a journey to a place called Independence, Texas, which is being touted as a small town with a big future. The first season of the series will be all about taking revenge for Abby and finding the man who killed her husband. On the other hand, the journey to the west won’t be easy due to harsh conditions and manipulative people.

When will ‘Walker: Independence’ Episode 1 premiere on The CW?

The first episode of the CW’s newest western drama will be premiering exclusively on Thursday, October 6, at 9 pm EST, followed by new episodes every Wednesday.
