LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: ‘Top Chef’ is back with another mouth watering season. Season 20 promises to give fans a hearty helping of competition, skill and lots of food. For the first time in the franchise's history, 16 past winners and finalists from 11 different international ‘Top Chef’ series will compete against each other. The winner will not only receive a cash prize of $250,000 but also earn the prestigious title of Top Chef World All-Star.

The first-look of ‘Top Chef’ revealed judge Tom Colicchio saying that "the competition just got really really serious." He will be joined by Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons along with a long list of culinary superstars from past international editions of ‘Top Chef’. That's not all, this season also promises a trip abroad. Read on to know more about the new season.

Who are the judges in 'Top Chef' Season 20 ?

Throughout the competition, Lakshmi, Colicchio and Simmons will be joined by international judges of Top Chef, including Hélène Darroze ('Top Chef' France), Aquiles Chavez ('Top Chef' Mexico), Dave Zilber ('Top Chef' Canada), Lorna Maseko ('Top Chef' South Africa) and Martha Ortiz ('Top Chef' Mexico). The participating chefs must also strive to impress an esteemed rotation of global culinary experts, including Gaggan Anand, Sam Bompas, Tom Brown, Jeremy Chan, Brett Graham, Max Halley, Adam Handling, Angela Hartnett, Graham Hornigold, Judy Joo, Asma Khan, Santiago Lastra, Greg Marchand, Clare Smyth, Kirk Westaway, Andrew Wong and Paul A Young. In addition to this, Tottenham legend Ledley King and Evening Standard restaurant critic Jimi Famurewa will contribute to the judging table this season. Finally, Alain Ducasse makes a special appearance with the finalists in Paris, France.

This season of ‘Top Chef’ is like no other. When Lakshmi announced the show’s return on her Instagram post, she called it the “highlight” of her career.  The 20th season of the American reality television program is titled 'Top Chef: World All-Stars' and it's the first time the show has been filmed abroad in London and Paris. The Saratoga Brand is offering an incredible reward package to the Top Chef season 20 champion - $250,000, a feature in Food and Wine magazine and an invitation to the annual Food and Wine Classic in Aspen.
