What is the plot of 'Noise'?

'Noise' is the story of Julia, who embarks on a journey in search of her missing daughter, Ger. Along the way, she meets multiple mothers, sisters and daughters who have experienced losses of their own.

Julia comes to realize, while speaking with them, that the root of corruption, violence and trauma is strongly embedded and has managed to tear apart countless lives in Mexico, including hers.

'Noise', a powerful picture of widespread corruption, righteous rot and the frustration of the powerless, can be described as a perfect balance of situational and sentimental fodder. Julia's journey to find her daughter takes her to brothels and shelters, scouring fields with search parties and sliding down neglected bunkers to reveal scraps of garments and charred remains of women who were murdered, dumped and burned, making you reflect on how fragile life is and the state of women around the world.
