What are 'hidden restrictions' in 'Squid Game The Challenge'? Player 018 Bee spills the tea about Netflix show
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Bee, the 018 player who got eliminated from 'Squid Game The Challenge', spilled the beans on YouTube's 'Curiously' channel on the nature of the show and the restrictions each player had.
She shared that the players had to follow a strict daily routine. All they could eat was plain porridge with rice and veggies, and noodles that didn't taste great. On top of that, they were only allowed to have water—no other drinks or snacks. "Except for a certain episode where you might see us indulge in some treats, we really only had water," she said.
Bee also revealed that smoking wasn't allowed during the game. And as if that wasn't enough, the players barely had any time to get a proper night's sleep. She revealed how there were no romantic relationships formed during the shooting of the show as everyone was almost caught up with winning the game.
"I don't think there was(any romance) there may have been, but I do not recall any after the first day," Bee said.
"I would have been surprised because we all started to getting a little bit stinky we're not feeling fresh anymore no one's had makeup my skin was horrendous like I didn't think anyone was thinking about romance," she added.
Why was player 018 Bee eliminated from 'Squid Game The Challenge'?
Everyone liked Bee for her smart moves in Warships. Unfortunately, she got eliminated in the dice game. In this tricky game, they said if you roll a six, you're out and guess what? Bee rolled a six and had to leave the game.
It was a bit of a surprise since she won people's hearts with her clever strategies, but in the end, it was just a roll of the dice that decided her fate.
It was kind of sad, especially because Roland, who was trying to play fair, got eliminated surprisingly too, thanks to Mai.
Eliminated contestants call 'Squid Game The Challenge' stressful show
There's talk that the challenge lasted way longer than they originally said it would. Because of this, some contestants were saying they went through more than they signed up for, and as a result, a few of them said they dealt with issues like hypothermia and nerve damage.
While the made-up drama in Squid Game was deadly for almost everyone in the story, the people behind 'Squid Game: The Challenge' claimed that the previous reports about contestants facing "inhumane" conditions weren't true.
However, in this real game, the environment was super stressful, and several players got hurt.
'Squid Game: The Challenge' renewed for season two amid controversies
Netflix is looking for 456 people to join the second season of 'Squid Game: The Challenge'. The contestants will be going head-to-head in different contests.
"The biggest reality competition series ever is about to get even bigger: Squid Game: The Challenge is returning for another season," shared Netflix.
