'Westworld' season 3 trailer featuring Aaron Paul released minutes before 'Game of Thrones' finale

The third season of 'Westworld', titled 'Westworld III' in the trailer, will premiere in 2020 and it looks like an entirely different show.
PUBLISHED MAY 20, 2019

With 'Game of Thrones' season 8 coming to an end, it was a known fact that Sunday night would be a massive one for HBO.

However, what fans and viewers didn't expect was the highly anticipated trailer for season 3 of 'Westworld' to be released along with the finale.

The third season of 'Westworld' or titled as 'Westworld III' in the trailer will premiere in 2020. Looking totally different from what we had seen before, the trailer revolves around 'Breaking Bad' star Aaron Paul.

Unlike what we got to see in season 1 and 2, season 3 of the sci-fi series takes place outside the walls of the park and we get a glimpse of the future and people who live in it. It looks like a whole new show and after taking a look at the trailer, it leaves everyone with more questions than answers.

Finally, we will get to see how the world works and what led to Delos Park being created in the first place. Apart from Paul's new character we also get to see the debut of actor and hip-hop artist Kid Cudi in the series who stars opposite Paul. Cudi previously starred in HBO's 'How to Make it in America'.

Throughout the trailer, we barely get to see any familiar face from the previous seasons. But toward the end of the trailer, we get to see a character come in front of Paul. Played by Evan Rachel Wood, is it a woman or a robot? We will get to know when the series premieres.

The teaser looks excitingly different but we will have to wait another six months before we get to know what to expect from season 3 of the sci-fi series.

'Westworld' season 3 is set to premiere on HBO in 2020.
