MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Season 5 of 'Welcome to Plathville' has shown Olivia Plath's strained relationship with the rest of her family, especially with Micah Plath.

Still, with their marriage in serious trouble during 'Welcome To Plathville' Season 5, things have been difficult to manage, particularly for the Plath family.

Micah, one of Ethan's siblings, has struggled with Olivia over the years.

Although the family appeared pleased when Ethan married Olivia in 2018, things have altered dramatically in their relationship. As the Plaths' troubles piled up, Olivia's dealings with them became more strained.

Micah tells Ethan in an exclusive sneak peek from 'Welcome to Plathville' why he doesn't want to be friends with Ethan's wife, Olivia.

Micah informed Ethan that Olivia texted him. Olivia wanted to see Micah only if they are willing to confront the elephant in the room, which Micah preferred to avoid.

Despite the fact that Micah came down to Minnesota to meet Ethan, he refused to remain at their house because Olivia would be there.

Micah described Olivia in his confessional as "slightly selfish."

He went on to say, "[She] Focuses on her feelings and how she feels more than anyone else." 

In his confessional, Ethan expressed Olivia's desire for Micah by herself. Micah does not want to get right into talking everything out, but Olivia does.

Olivia requested that Micah meet with her one-on-one to clear the air. Instead of confronting her, he suggested they meet in a less formal situation.

How is 'Welcome to Plathville' stars Olivia and Micah Plath's relationship now?

Olivia and Micah were close until Season 4 ended, when Olivia pushed back against Ethan's younger sister, Moriah Plath, and maintained her ground on limits with his parents. At one point, Micah, Moriah, Ethan, and Olivia were excellent friends outside of being in-laws.

But Micah and Olivia drifted more apart after Micah moved across the nation to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling career and Ethan and Olivia's ongoing marital problems.

Olivia and Ethan started to stand against the rest of the Plath family. Olivia has recently informed Ethan that she does not want him to bring Micah back to their home.

Ethan explains to the producers that he hasn't told Micah about "Olivia's firm decision" yet, as he is still unsure of his own plans for his brother's visitation at their Minnesota home.

And it will undoubtedly widen the gap even more than it was previously.

Why do the Plaths not like 'Welcome to Plathville' star Olivia Plath?

Since she and Ethan became serious, Olivia has been used as a scapegoat in feuds with the Plath family, especially because of problems between Olivia and Kim Plath. Olivia accused Kim of using Ethan's credit card without giving it back, and this led to a big cause of conflict between the two of them: the credit card drama.

What happened between 'Welcome to Plathville' stars Olivia and Moriah Plath?

Moriah Plath was dubbed the "rebel kid" of the Plath family. While defying her parents, she became close to Ethan and Olivia and even moved in with them.

The two girls had become BFFs, but now they're accusing each other of stealing, leaving without notice, and being "done."
