'Welcome to Plathville': Kim Plath hesitates to take next big step with beau Ken Palmer amid family opposition
CAIRO, GEORGIA: Kim Plath has been concentrating on her new romance with Ken Palmer in the face of opposition from her children and ex-husband. Kim and Ken's love may live together under one roof.
In a sneak preview from TLC's November 28 episode of 'Welcome to Plathville,' Kim's boyfriend expresses concerns about the next steps in their relationship.

Ken then conveys his desire to discuss some ideas with Kim.
"You know I have spare bedrooms, and you're more than welcome to move into one of those," he says.
"And I was thinking in the interim...could help you out financially until you get back on your feet," Ken adds.
Kim responds with a surprised "wow" to Ken's announcement. He assures Kim that it's not a decision she needs to make immediately but something she should ponder for the future.
"I'd love to have you here," he continues.
In a separate interview, Kim acknowledges, "It kind of surprised me" when questioned about the possibility of moving in.
She adds, "It's fun to think about, it's exciting to think about."
During their date, she expresses to Ken, "I love being with you and I love being here. I don't want to answer quickly. I guess I just need to consider the children."
Ken reassures her that there is no pressure, but Kim is mindful that there is a lot to think about, especially considering her children's dissatisfaction with her dating since her divorce from their father and ex-husband, Barry Plath, in 2022.
"I wasn't really expecting this to happen so quickly," she admits in an off-camera interview.
"But I kind of want to be a little bit level-headed and think things through, and just consider it from the children's perspective," says Kim.

According to a September report from The US Sun, 'Welcome To Plathville' star Kim, has moved into her new beau Ken's $609,000 Florida mansion. Kim and her former partner Barry declared their separation in June 2022.
By May 2023, Kim had moved on with Ken, leaving the $663,000 Georgia farm to jointly own a $609,000 Florida house.
The US Sun obtained documentation revealing that Ken purchased the log cabin-style property with four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 2017.
While Kim's name is not on the deed, the paperwork lists the same house as her primary location.
The 'Welcome to Plathville' star's new residence boasts 3,485 square feet and is situated on five acres.
The backyard of Kim and Ken features a modest lounge terrace, a two-stall barn, and an in-ground pool.
The house is a single-story structure primarily constructed of wood. Kim likely moved in discreetly sometime between this past winter and the announcement of her divorce in June 2022.
When did Kim Plath and Ken Palmer begin dating?
As of March 2023, Ken began sharing pictures of himself and Kim as a couple on Facebook, making their relationship public by frequently updating his page to showcase their joyful moments together.
In his Facebook comments, Ken's pals have been gushing.
According to a previous article by The US Sun, Kim was arrested on October 20, 2022, following an incident on June 10 for driving while intoxicated, causing property damage, and causing personal harm in Florida.
Kim's case was reopened on April 3, 2023, after the reality star filed an order to dismiss the impoundment and immobilization of her automobile, as InTouch first revealed back in May.
Kim identified Ken as her romantic partner and mentioned that he even co-signed another car in her name, as per court filings.
Ultimately, the matter was settled on April 14, with the cancellation of the motion and hearing that had been scheduled.
According to InTouch, when the TLC star was found guilty in March 2023, Kim's DUI case was first dismissed.

Ken appears to have spent some time with Kim's family because he posted pictures of himself on Facebook in May 2022, bringing one of Kim's children, Isaac, 17, for a flying lesson.
Formerly, Kim's new boyfriend worked for Delta Air Lines as an aircraft technician.
Along with that, he shared pictures of himself hanging out with Kim's ex-husband, Barry.
Barry shared a picture of Kim and Barry standing proudly next to some of their younger kids in April 2022, just before Kim and Barry's divorce was made public.
The photo was captioned by Ken, "Hanging out with the Plath crew tonight."
Kim and Barry, who have nine children together, brought up their children on their sizable farm in rural Georgia with strict traditional and conservative beliefs.
