LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Creed III' is giving a knock-out punch at the box office right now and the universe of 'Rocky' is getting bigger and better. 'Creed III' is currently getting massive praise from both audiences and critics alike. Another interesting note about this film is that 'Creed III' marks the directorial debut of Michael B Jordan. And the recent report suggests a new project with Adonis Creed’s daughter Amara (Mila Davis-Kent) that has opened a serious discussion on the Internet.

The Jordan directorial includes Jonathan Majors as Damian Anderson and several of the castmates reprising their roles from the 'Creed' franchise. It includes Jordan as Adonis Creed, Tessa Thompson as Bianca Creed, Phylicia Rashad as Mary-Anne Creed and Wood Harris as Tony 'Little Duke' Burton.

The potential 'Creed-verse'

'Creed III' marks the first feature film debut for actress Davis-Kent. According to the Deadline, a potential project with the character, Amara, as the lead is brewing at Amazon. This project has been subtly hinted at throughout 'Creed III' with the bonding scenes between Adonis and Amara. Further, apart from this female-led project, there are also several possibilities for projects including an anime series and ideas for live-action TV series as well. These spin-off ideas are not an immediate surprise as Jordan has been teasing the potential future installment for the franchise for a while now.

'Not every franchise needs pointless spin-offs'

However, the news regarding the project that revolving around Adonis' daughter Amara has been gaining some mixed and polarized reactions from fans of the franchise. On one side, fans are not onboard with this idea and the other side witnesses some fans worried about the age of the actress. One fan wrote, "She’s like 5, what projects are being discussed lol?" Another fan commented, "DK how they'll handle it, since by now the character is pretty young." Further, someone added, "Tbh we don’t need it. And I don’t want it. I think the series needs to end right here with the third creed movie." Whilst, one fan chimed in and commented, "Just why tho, Creed is a good trilogy of movies and the cast is great. Why can’t we just leave it to be just that, not every franchise needs pointless spin-offs and cash grab continuations."

'I'd 100% want an Amara movie'

On the other hand, the idea of a movie headed by the character Amara is gaining support from some fans. One fan extended their support by saying, "I’d 100% want an Amara movie in like 10 years when she’s 17/18. Not right now obviously. Creed 3 totally set up her being a fighter in the future." While another added, "Would be awesome to see a female focused rocky movie. definitely would be way different than the typical boxing movie." Yet another fan wanted to give the movie some time and shared their opinion by adding, "That would be great, it does feel like the natural progression of the story, although it feels like something that would have to happen in 10 maybe 15 years time. I think that's the way to go, especially since this franchise has jumped in time twice now and its worked wonders'
