Trump's former housekeepers claim he uses Swiss makeup brand ‘Bronx Colors’ to maintain his famous ‘rust color’ look: Report

The White House offered an explanation earlier this year for how President Trump maintained his orange-hued facial appearance, even during the cold of winter.

Refuting rumors that Trump had secretly installed a tanning bed in the White House, a spokesperson claimed his tanned look was simply due to "good genes." Unsurprisingly, The Washington Post offered on Wednesday what appears to be an alternative explanation for the president's orange-tinted skin.

Speaking to undocumented immigrants who claimed to have worked as housekeepers for the Trump family, The Post reported that Trump "slathered on" a certain Swiss brand of official makeup known as Bronx Colors.

According to the laborers, they were required to ensure there were at least three containers of the "rust-colored" makeup available to Trump in his bedroom. The report further states that Trump wanted two of the makeup containers to be full at all times, while the third must be only half full. The Post also found that Trump applied the same rule for his favorite Tic Tac candy. Housekeepers had to ensure two full containers of white Tic Tacs and another half-full container were present in his bedroom at all times.

Joshua Partlow and David A. Fahrenthold, both reporters for The Washington Post, revealed that they requested a response to details in the story from White House Press Sec. Stephanie Grisham. However, she slammed the same as “not only false, they are a disgusting attempt at invading the privacy of the First Family.”

Furthermore, she described the reporting as “fabricated tabloid trash.”

The reporters claimed the undocumented workers were often required to supply Trump with clean shirts after the Swiss makeup left rust-colored stains on his collars. Partlow and Fahrenthold also found that Trump favored the Irish Spring brand of shower soap. However, the housekeepers were allegedly not permitted to throw away any of the president's favorite soap, even if "it had worn down to the tiniest sliver.”
