Chris Mazza has been a cause of concern for Boston, but the side will be starting with him. With 6.35 ERA, he's yet to pitch more than three innings according to Winners and Whiners' Scott Reichel. Washington has fared no better so far and their average is below Boston. This would see a push from the home team to notch up a convincing series win.

Who will win?

Washington's on-road record is pretty decent despite being the last on the NL East's points table. This adds to their advantage and they will be looking to get some momentum at Fenway Park. Boston still are the favorites to win this and we'll go with them to draw first blood on August 28.
