'Was it Love' Episode 15 starts with Ha-nee, Ae-jeong's (Song Ji-hyo) mother and her colleagues walking-in on Dae-o (Son Ho-jun) and Ae-jeong kissing each other. She sees how her mother looked happy once Dae-o woke up, and the worry that she had on the face when Dae-o was still unconscious. Yeon-woo also helps Ha-nee realize that Dae-o really loves his daughter. Then when Suki, her mother's friend points out how Dae-o had loved one woman his entire life and that was none other than her mother, Ha-nee begins to have a change of heart. She decides that Dae-o might not have been the best father, but he is worth reconsidering for the position of a husband.

So Ha-nee comes up with a checklist. She tells Dae-o that he can only think about dating or being with her mother if he can tick all the boxes in the checklist that she had made. Dae-o seems surprised initially because he had expected to be disciplined and even hated on for getting close to Ae-jeong despite Ha-nee not liking it. Instead, he got Ha-nee's blessing. What shocks Dae-o further is the fact that Ha-nee tells him that she doesn't need a father. She tells him that her mother took such good care of her as both mother and father that at the moment, she is not in need of one.

Dae-o takes Ha-nee seriously and also takes her checklist seriously too. It is after seeing this checklist that Dae-o decides to write a different novel, change his opinion from when he wrote his first book 'Love is Nonexistent'. He also decided something very important and that was to propose to Ae-jeong. He pulls all strings possible, takes Ae-jeong back to the university where the two of them studied together and helps her relive their happier days. He also helps her recall how passionate she had been when her university film was being made.

In fact, Dae-o uses the university theater to play the film that he had directed, Ae-jeong had produced and Ryu Jin had acted in. Ae-jeong is moved to tears and at this point, Dae-o tells her that she was his first love, and he would appreciate it if she agreed to be his last love too. She seems ready to say yes, but she is not aware of what Ms. Song has in store for her.

Despite the reason for Ms. Song's downfall being Ryu Jin, she seems dead set on ruining Ae-jeong. She believes strongly that if not for Ae-jeong, Ryu Jin would never have rebelled in the first place and that the two of them would have very well arrived at Hollywood by now. So while Dae-o and Ae-jeong get sweet on each other, Ms. Song is scheming. She has found out the connection between Ae-jeong and Dae-o and plans to use this to somehow ruin the chances of Ae-jeong and Ryu Jin's movie getting made. How will this conflict be resolved in the finale episode?

New episodes of 'Was it Love?' will air on JTBC at 9.30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and will be available to stream on Netflix.
