‘Warrior’ Season 2 Episode 6 ‘To a Man with a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail’: Will Ah Sahm and Rosalita Vega have a short-lived romance?

Last week's episode ‘Not for a Drink, a F*ck, or a G**damn Prayer’ ended with a scene in the Barbary Coast Fight Pit where Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) was seen thrashing down a dreadlocked fighter in dramatic slow motion. After the fight, Ah Sahm met Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) who asked for a reconciliation but Ah Sham shunned her request saying her brother died the day she ordered his death. Enter Rosalita Vega (Maria-Elena Laas) who wonders if she’s Ah Sahm’s lover. Ah Sahm brushes it off and then asks her about the offer for a bigger fight purse in some international fight arena.
Episode 6 ‘To a Man with a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail’ might delve deeper into the fight tournament Vega has been luring Ah Sahm into since the very first episode. The summary of the episode reads: “Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji), Young Jun (Jason Tobin), and Hong (Hoon Lee) travel with Vega (Maria Elena Laas) to Rooker's Mill, a US-Mexico border town owned by Elijah Rooker (Conor Mullen), the wealthy host of a lucrative fight tournament that Ah Sahm is determined to win. As he learns more about Vega, Ah Sahm draws the attention of another fighter, Dolph (Mike Bisping), and later, Rooker himself.”
What will happen as Ah Sahm and Vega make their trip to Rooker's Mill? A mysterious character since the beginning, will Vega's secrets peep out of the closet? Sharing a sneak peek, Maria-Elena posted a picture on Instagram with the gang and wrote, “Vega takes the gang to Mexico and all hell breaks loose. Episode 6 this Friday!”
As the gang heads to the new spot, will Ah Sahm and Vega share their stories and spark a romantic connection? The fact that she asked him whether it was his lover who came to see him was no coincidence and that means she is interested in his life. Remember that scene where Ah Sahm asked her, “Hey Vega, You said you might be able to help me find what I'm looking for,” and she remarked, “I did say that, didn't I?” Not just that, on their very first meeting, Ah Sahm quipped, “Well, I get the feeling you're not someone who makes a lot of mistakes,” and she snapped back, “I could tell you stories.”
Sly, sensuous and dangerous, the tough Mexican woman is quite a delight to be with and why would Ah Sahm let an opportunity like that pass away? In fact, the two are actually quite alike in terms of how they think — and we believe the two make a better pair than Ah Sahm and Penelope Blake (Joanna Vanderham). But will the love story — if at all it happens — last for long or just be a short-lived affair? Only time will tell. Directed by Dustin Nguyen and written by Jonathan Tropper & Brad Kane, the episode will air on November 6, 2020.
