Virginia college student murders best friend by stabbing her 40 times in the apartment they shared
A college student has been arrested for the murder of her best friend in the apartment they shared.
Twenty-one-year-old Luisa Ines Tudela Harris Cutting was charged with second-degree murder on Thursday in western Virginia in the death of her Radford University classmate Alexa Cannon. The Police were called to the students' apartment complex at 7.45 am on Thursday, with the dispatcher reporting that a female caller was screaming something about a knife, according to a report in The Roanoke Times.
When the police arrived on the scene, they were greeted by Cutting, who was covered in blood. She immediately turned around placing her hands behind her back saying "arrest me," according to an arrest warrant. When asked why they should arrest her, the warrant states that Cutting replied, "I killed her."
