Virginia Beach shooting: Who are the gunmen? Four shot including two kids, cops call it ‘very active scene’
WHITNEY COURT, VIRGINIA BEACH: Four people, including two children, have been shot in Virginia Beach on Sunday, November 8. The police team has warned the local residents to stay away from the area due to it being a "very active scene". Officers responded to the residential area just before 5.30 pm.
Virginia Beach Police Department tweeted, "Police on scene of a multiple shooting in the 3700 block of Whitney Ct. 2 adults and 2 children have been transported to local hospitals with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. This is a very active scene. More to follow as info becomes available. @CityofVaBeach." None of the victims has been identified yet.

Whitney Court is in the Twin Canal Village section of the city between S Independence Blvd and S Lynnhaven Road. The news came to light just a day after three teens were shot near Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach. According to the police, Saturday's incident took place between Lynnhaven Mall Loop and Lynnhaven North Shopping Center. The teens, aged between 15 and 17, were taken to the local hospitals with serious injuries. The police department tweeted, "VBPD on scene of a shooting near Lynnhaven Mall between Lynnhaven Mall Loop and North Lynnhaven Shopping Center. 3 victims have been transported to local hospitals. As soon as the news of the shooting came to light, people started talking about it. One Internet user said, "What on earth is happening to our city recently?" While another one sarcastically said, "And now everything has returned to normal."
Another one said, "8 people were shot in Nashville last night." Putting it in the political light, one said, "Must be Democrats/Antifa who are guilty."
