Washington BLM leader urges rioters to 'burn White House down' in viral video: 'Ready to put police in the grave'
WASHINGTON, D.C: A new video making the rounds on social media shows a leader of a Black Lives Matter rally in Washington, D.C., promising to "burn the White House down" and "put police in graves" as several people cheer on the proclamation.
Protests have intensified in the nation's capital following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha last week, with protesters regularly clashing with law enforcement across the city. The animosity between the two sides was apparent in a speech given at the newly-renamed 'Black Lives Matter' plaza, where a speaker threatened violence against the authorities if changes were not forthcoming in the system.
Brendon Leslie, a self-proclaimed Conservative reporter, captured the speech and uploaded it onto his Twitter page, where it has been viewed more than 4.5 million times and retweeted close to 15,000 times. "A BLM leader is encouraging this crowd of protesters to fight the DC cops on the frontlines. Saying he’s “ready to put them in their graves” - this may lead to another violent night in DC..." he wrote.

In the video, the speaker can be heard shouting, "I’m at the point where I’m ready to put these police in the f****** grave," as the crowd cheers and applauds him. "I’m at the point where I wanna burn the f****** White House down. I wanna take it to the Senators. I wanna take it to the Congress. I wanna take the fight to them. And at the end of the day if they ain’t gonna hear us, we burn them the f*** down."
The speaker went on to reference his activities in New York. "I’m one that talk real s***," he continued. "I talk it in New York and I talk it in DC. The same way I f*** police up in New York, I f*** cops here in DC. The same way I bust police in the head in New York, I bust police in the head in DC."
Twitter users were not amused by the speaker. "Law Enforcement agencies need to get a grip of these dangerous idiots, otherwise they will spread like Japanese Knotweed. Shock and awe - hit them extremely hard," one user wrote.

"I don’t understand why young people in the US can’t see themselves as fortunate to be in such a good economy, take advantage, get a job or start a small business. Your mates in other countries are busting their asses off with no one to give them half the opportunities you have," a second opined.

"That right there should be Game Over. End of the line, it needs to be shut down. His rights to freedom of speech and expression were forfeit at his admission to and incitement of violence," another tweeted.

The incendiary speech came just one day after Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and his wife were accosted by a sizeable group of Black Lives Matter activists who shoved the police detail escorting him out of the Republican National Convention. Police tried to hold the crowd back, but an officer who was holding a bicycle to shield the couple from the demonstrators was shoved viciously so that he stumbled into Paul and almost knocked him to the ground.
Following the incident, he had taken to social media to thank law enforcement for saving his life. "Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob," he tweeted.
