Video shows bikini-clad Lori Vallow being served court order to produce her missing children in 5 days
MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO: Jurors were left utterly stunned after they were shown footage where Lori Vallow was served with a court order to produce her two children who went missing for months before being found buried in her new husband's residence. The clip, recorded by Kauai police on January 25, 2020, has been obtained by Fox 10 Phoenix after it was displayed in her murder trial in an attempt to prove that the 'Doomsday cult mom' was a suspect since the very beginning of the investigation.
Since the disappearance of the two children, a very contrasting side was seen in Vallow's family. While family members made several desperate attempts to find the missing children in Rexburg, Idaho, in early 2020, a bikini-clad Vallow was seen lounging poolside in Kauai along with her new husband Chad Daybell. The woman, after being handed the paper by the authorities, shook her head.

Vallow was arrested before being charged with murder
Vallow was unable to produce her children within 5 days as mentioned in the paper and was thus slapped with child abandonment charges and was arrested by the Kauai police department. However, a few months later her charge changed to murder when the lifeless bodies of her children Tylee and JJ were found buried in Daybell's backyard. Vallow is presently facing a murder trial for the deaths of her children along with the killing of Daybell's wife, Tammy, who died on October 19, 2019. Daybell is being tried separately for the killings and his court date is still still to be confirmed.
Vallow and Daybell fled from their home
Vallow's fourth husband, Charles was shot dead by her brother in Arizona. Vallow was also charged with her husband's murder in June 2021 and is set to face another separate trial for the killing. Vallow and Daybell fled from their homes in Rexburg, Idaho in late November and just a couple of months later the pair was discovered in Kauai when the authorities began questioning about the whereabouts of her children who were last seen in September. While Vallow was at the pool, she was approached by the authorities with the court order to physically produce her children to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare or the Rexburg Police Department within five days.
What did Vallow do after seeing the paper?
Vallow was seen shaking her head at the paperwork after seeing the video. She kept quiet for a brief period and broke the silence when she looked up at the police and questioned if they need anything. Police asked her in the clip if she has any queries about the court order, to which he shook her head.
Many commentators singled out the book on Vallow's lounge chair, "Visions of Glory: One man's astonishing account of the last days" by John Pontius after the video was posted by the outlet. According to Amazon's description, the book is a "true account of near-death experiences". It includes an "account of visions of the spirit world and a series of vignettes of apocalyptic last-days scenarios."
