White couple tells duo to 'go back to Mexico' in viral video over 'F*** Trump' sticker on their car
A viral video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a White couple was filmed berating two people in another vehicle that had a "F*** Trump" bumper sticker on it and telling them to "go back to Mexico."
The footage was first uploaded on Reddit's Public Freakout subreddit, where users regularly post videos of racist tirades, by someone who claimed that it had originally been posted to Facebook by a friend.
The 27-second video started with one of the men in the vehicle with the bumper sticker cackling as a gray truck pulled up beside them. A camera lens that was pointed at their passenger window captured the subsequent interaction between the pair and a middle-aged man and woman in the truck.
"Why don't you go back? Why you don't go back to Mexico?" the man can be heard yelling from inside his truck, seemingly in response to the "F*** Trump" sticker on the vehicle. In response, the first driver yells back, "You look so ugly!" His passenger, whose face cannot be seen, gives the couple a sarcastic thumbs up.
At this point, the woman joins the squabble as well and yelled: "Go back!" while gesticulating at them and sticking both her middle fingers in the air. The man joined her and said, "You're the biggest problem in this country. F****** lowlifes." He continued speaking but also started rolling up his window at the same time, which muffled his words. After the window is up, he points at them one last time and speeds up his truck until he passes them.
"Oh s***, that's awesome!" the first driver can be heard exclaiming before ending the video, which has now been viewed thousands of times online.
Reddit users pointed out that the driver's incessant laughing had very likely annoyed the middle-aged man to no end and praised him for being cool despite finding himself in such an aggravating situation.
"The laughing was probably making him very angry. My wife’s aunt told me she blows kisses, so I tried it and let me tell you the anger from the other driver was palpable," one user commented.
"Some lady got mad when I prevented her from cutting in front of me," a second shared. "She already had her window down and started screaming all kinds of profanities. I rolled my window down, smiled, winked and waved. She felt stupid instantly and rolled her window up."
"I rarely get to do it, but when people get all road ragey on you I've found it best to hold your hand open, thumb on your nose while fingers sticking up, and then wiggle your fingers at them," a third posted. "It's so childish and comical, yet confusing and enraging at the same time. They usually need to process it for a minute, and then feel too embarrassed to pursue and more road rage idiocy. It's far more satisfying than the middle finger.."
Others highlighted the hypocrisy in their actions and how people like them did not realize they were criticizing the very things they claimed to defend. "It's ironic how the MAGA-morons would call anyone who doesn't agree with them a "snowflake", but will throw a tantrum at the sight of any object that is against Trump in the slightest," one user said.
"I love how these ultra conservative idiots are constantly parading their advocacy of free speech yet they feel the need to lecture someone about their use of freedom of expression in regards to their political opinion," another opined.
