Wyoming Republican Representative Liz Cheney, who was brutally targetted by Matt Gaetz for her vote to impeach former president Donald Trump, has now spoken up about the sex trafficking allegations against Gaetz. Florida GOP Representative Gaetz is currently the subject of a sex trafficking probe by federal authorities upon allegations that he had sexual relations with a 17-year-old girl. Meanwhile, the House Ethics Committee is also investigating the embattled politician for illegal activity and violation of House rules. 

Dubbing the charges as 'sickening', Liz Cheney told CBS, "As the mother of daughters, the charges certainly are sickening. As the Speaker noted there is an ethics investigation underway, there are criminal investigations underway, and I'm not going to comment further on that publicly right now." Cheney's comment has been interpreted by Twitter users as Gaetz being 'a mother's worst f****ng nightmare'. Gaetz's own mother, Victoria Quertermous Gaetz, is yet to make any comments on the entire situation involving her son. Who is Victoria 'Vicky' Gaetz?

Victoria Quertermous Gaetz aka Vicky Gaetz is a beloved figure in the Republican political circles in Florida. She is married to former Florida senate president Donald Jay Gaetz, with whom she shares two children - Matt Gaetz and Erin Gaetz. 

Currently, in her 70s, Victoria has been well-respected as a loving and supportive partner to Don throughout his political career. Alongside, she has always been a staunch advocate against animal cruelty, being particularly instrumental in issuing measures to control greyhound racing in Florida. 

For more than two decades (1976-1997), Victoria worked as a licensed pharmacist, according to Celebrity Net Worth. According to her Facebook bio, she originally hails from Fort Walton Beach in Floria and attended the Choctawhatchee High School. She then pursued her higher education at the University of Florida. 

According to Washington Post, Victoria endured severe complications during her second pregnancy with daughter Erin, leading the doctor to advise an abortion for her. However, she decided to continue with the pregnancy, and the complications eventually affected her mobility. She has been wheelchair-bound ever since. 

Don and Victoria reside in Seaside, Florida at a house that was featured in the film 'The Truman Show'. They purchased the house in Santa Rosa Beach in 1991. The couple owns other properties in Destin and Niceville in Florida as well. 

Matt Gaetz's sex trafficking scandal

A billboard with the statement "Matt Gaetz wants to 'date' your child" has been spotted in Crestview, Florida following Gaetz's sex trafficking scandal. Promoted by a liberal political action committee called Mad Dog, the billboard appeared just after it was found that Gaetz had sent $900 via Venmo to his friend and jailed sex trafficker Joel Greenberg. Meanwhile, as Cheney expressed deep concerns about Gaetz as a 'mother of daughters', Twitter users have shared a wide array of reactions about Gaetz. 

"Liz Cheney thinks you should keep your kids away from Matt Gaetz," remarked one user, while another wrote, "Liz Cheney basically just said she wouldn't want Matt Gaetz to be around her daughters – Rightfully." One user wrote, "It is going to be great when after all of his BS against Liz Cheney, Matt Gaetz is gone and she is still there and in the Republican minority leadership."

A particular user shared a humorous take on the situation, "Late January: "Rep. Matt Gaetz fired off a barrage of insults against his colleague Liz Cheney during a rally in her home state of Wyoming..." Early April."
