NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A New York mom of 13 children has sparked a social media uproar after revealing her children's unique names. Veronica Merritt has 12 biological children and one adopted child and is well known for her TikTok content where she shares insights into her life being a mother of 13 children which include doing chores for the children, driving them around in a school bus, preparing lunch, etc.
However, her recent TikTok video has gone viral after garnering more than 1.7 million views. Veronica shared the names of her 12 biological children with her viewers but somehow the trolls didn't agree with the New Yorker mom. Many claimed the children would be bullied for their names and that they would grow to hate it.

Veronica captioned the viral TikTok video, "I'm 37, here are the names and ages of my 12 biological kids." "I had to make an update because we had a birthday... plus last time I accidentally wrote the wrong middle name for Darla," she added in the caption of the viral video, before sharing the surprising names. She began by revealing her oldest child's name, Victoria Adrianna, 22. Followed by the other three children's names, Andrew Vincent, 18; Adam, 16; and Mara Annalise, 15.
The viewers became eerie about the children's names such as Dash Orion, 13, and 12-year-old Darla Annmarie. Marvelous Artymis, nine, followed by eight-year-old Martalya Annastasia, six-year-old Amelia Annabelle, and four-year-old Delilah Arianna. She continued the TikTok video by revealing the names of her youngest children, three-year-old Donovan Oliver, and her toddler, 10-month-old Modi Alexander. Veronica further added in the caption, "I know their names I swear - just easily distracted and must have hit the wrong auto fill word."
However, internet users had mixed reactions to the children's names and criticized the mother for her choices. One user claimed, "Some of those kids are going to hate you for those names," according to Daily Mail. Another wrote, "Marvelous Artymis? Dash Orion?" alongside a skull emoji. A third quoted, "Marvelous is going to be bullied for that name," followed by a fourth, "Like they got worse, then better, then worse again," the user said.
A fifth social media user claimed, "Marvelous Artemis sounds like a Dr. Seuss character." "That's just too many," another user commented. Subsequently, some users praised the mother and her choices of unique names. One user wrote, "Beautiful children and beautiful names." "Love their names," added another user. A third person noted, "They've got majestic names." "The names! Love! Go you!" a comment read.
