Inarguably, Vasiliy Lomachenko versus Teofimo Lopez Jr. has to be the biggest fight coming our way. The lightweight unification fight in Las Vegas will see the 32-year-old Lomachenko take on a spirited younger Lopez in a fight that comes with some intense backstory. The fight is a classic southpaw vs orthodox battle as the three-time reigning lightweight champion goes up against an undefeated Lopez. However, with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic applying the brakes on boxing action, both fighters take the ring after a long lay-off.

Here's everything you need to ahead of the clash:

Time

The bout is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Venue

The fight will take place at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Where to watch?

The fight will be televised live on ESPN.

For those wanting to catch the fight, it can be live-streamed via Hula’s Live TV package. Seven days of ESPN / ESPN 2 / FS1 via Hulu Live TV is free, while a one-month subscription costs $44.99. In addition, fans can opt for an ESPN+ package, and existing ESPN customers can watch it for free. The ESPN app allows existing ESPN cable subscribers to stream the fight as well.

Pre-buzz around the bout

Ahead of the fight, "I'm built differently. I'm one of those that is just different," Lopez said during an interview with 'Morning Kombat' on Monday (Via CBS Sports). "I step up to the plate and it's always in my favor. That just comes with a lot of hard work and a lot of sacrifices that I have made throughout my career. It's 18 years in and still counting. It comes with all that, just the mentality part. [It's also] the fact that I walk by faith and I live by it. Everything that I do is always through God and He always steers me in the right way. My time is now and that's what I believe."

Lopez comes into this bout with 15-0-0 with (12 KO's) 80% while Lomachenko has 14-1-0 and (10 KO's) 66.67%. The bout will all be about Lomachenko's nimble footwork against Lopez's power-packed punches. Lomachenko's experience of winning world titles in three weight divisions, including collecting three of the four recognized lightweight belts works in his favor while Lopez comes in as the underdog going into this fight.

Who will win?

While it is experienced for Lomachenko that makes him the hot favorite to win this clash, it's all about proving a point for Lopez. Betting predictions lean in favor of Lomachenko to take this home.
