The Ghouls vs Vanessa Bryant: Cops may have MOVED Gianna’s body for pictures after crash
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In her latest appearance in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday, August 19, Vanessa Bryant broke down in tears as she testified that she lives in a constant fear that pictures of the bodies of her late husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna will be leaked on social media after officials on the site reportedly shared them. Vanessa was also concerned by the fact that cops might have moved Gianna’s body to take her photo because of where she was located.
According to the New York Post, the 40-year-old gasped for air revealing that she had to run out of her house so that her daughters won’t see her crying after getting to know that pictures of the bodies from the helicopter crash existed. Vanessa is suing Los Angeles County after first responders allegedly circulated pictures from the accident. For the unversed, basketball icon Kobe Bryant, 41, and daughter Gianna, 13, along with six family friends died when their helicopter crashed in Thousand Oaks, California in January 2020.

‘I don't ever want to see these photographs’
According to the New York Post, Vanessa during her latest appearance in court, stated, “I felt like I wanted to run down the block and scream. I can’t escape my body. I can’t escape what I feel,” adding, “I just remember not wanting to react because the girls were in the room.” Vanessa's other three daughters are Capri, 3, Bianka, 5, and Natalia, 19.
Vanessa shared that she suffers anxiety and panic attacks thinking that images of the bodies from the crash might surface on social media someday. She felt "blindsided, devastated, hurt, and betrayed" by the news of the leak. “I live in fear I live in fear every day of seeing on social media and having these images pop up,” testified Vanessa adding, “I don’t ever want to see these photographs,” “I want to remember them as they were.” A report by the Los Angeles Times earlier claimed that the county employees took pictures on the site and shared them with others.
‘I expected them to have more compassion’
Vanessa said the sheriff never told to her that pictures of the wreck were taken and that they were part of the investigation. “I expected them to have more compassion, respect,” said Vanessa adding, “My husband and daughter deserved dignity.” Vanessa is now seeking millions from the county for the damage.
Dismissing Vanessa’s claims, a lawyer for the county earlier said, “site photography is essential" and that the photos had not been posted anywhere publicly, as reported by the BBC. “They're not online, they're not in the media, they've never even been seen by the plaintiffs themselves,” said J Mira Hashmall.
