LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Vanderpump Rules' star Scheana Shay recently shared the details of her first ever meeting with 'Fuller House' actress Candace Cameron Bure, describing her as "dismissive." Shay discussed the encounter during a recent episode of her podcast, 'Scheananigans With Scheana Shay,' recalling their meeting in the early days of the reality show.

“The first time I met Candace Cameron, she wasn’t very nice. She was hosting this event with [Lisa Vanderpump‘s daughter] Pandora. It was, maybe, season 2 — it was really early Vanderpump Rules days in 2013,” the Bravo star told the listeners.

Scheana was excited to meet Candace as she was a big fan of Full House and she went on to say, “I was really excited to meet her. She was so dismissive as if I wasn’t cool enough or big enough to be hanging out with her.”

The 'Good as Gold' singer reflected on her unpleasant encounter with Candace by contrasting it with other interactions she had with famous individuals.

"I remember I was so excited to meet her and she was like, ‘Ugh.' I didn’t want to watch Fuller House because of that one experience. And I’ve met so many celebrities in my life and hardly any have stood out to me as rude — but she stood out as one," she added.

'Vanderpump Rules' star Scheana Shay calls Kim Kardashian 'humble'

During the same segment of the podcast, Scheana Shay mentioned how pleasantly surprised she was by the down-to-earth demeanor of reality TV icon Kim Kardashian, describing her as "so humble" in person. She went on to express her admiration for the humility of many other A-list celebrities.

“Even Kim freaking Kardashian is so nice and humble. So many huge, A-list celebrities are so nice," she said.

Soon after, Scheana's guest cohost Kiki Monique made a pointed remark directed towards Candace, insinuating that her actions were unexpected coming from someone who publicly displays Bible verses in their social media bio.

'Dance Moms' alum JoJo Siwa dubbed Candace Cameron Bure 'rudest celebrity' in 2022

Scheana Shay is just one in a long line of celebrities who have found themselves in the spotlight for their less-than-ideal encounters with Candace Cameron Bure. In a TikTok video posted in July 2022, JoJo Siwa claimed that Bure was the 'rudest celebrity' she had ever encountered.

Despite Candace issuing an apology and the two publicly reconciling, JoJo criticized the Hallmark actress once more when Candace referred to same-sex marriages as not "traditional" and not the main focus of her work with Great American Media.

“I can’t believe … that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then also talk about it in the press. This is rude and hurtful, the 'So You Think You Can Dance' judge said.

'Full House' star Candace Cameron Bure makes controversial remarks about Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony

During an Instagram video posted on July 28, Candace Cameron Bure made headlines with her controversial comments regarding the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony. The actress sparked debate and discussion with her remarks.

"It felt too important not to [speak up] and I love the Olympic Games, I love them. My husband Valeri Bure, is a two-time Olympic medalist, so is my brother-in-law, and my father-in-law is a three-time Olympic medalist," she said.

The actress added, "I have many friends that have competed in Games over the years and it’s something as a kid I have always loved… the Olympic Games have always brought me so much joy."

"So to watch such an incredible and wonderful event that’s gonna take place over the next two weeks and see the opening ceremonies completely blaspheme and mock the Christian faith with their interpretation of the Last Supper was disgusting," she continued.

She concluded by saying, "It made me so sad and someone said, ‘You shouldn’t be sad. You should be mad about it.' I’m like, ‘Trust me, it makes me mad, but I’m more sad because I’m sad for souls. I pray for my heart to break over what breaks God’s heart and I just think about all the people that have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ or don’t know the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, in Galatians, it says, 'God is not mocked for whatever a person sows he will also reap because the one who sows … will reap destruction from the flesh.'"
