'Vanderpump Rules' Season 8 Reunion: Fans slam cast for shaming Kristen and not Max after hookup revelation
New cast member Max Boyens has gotten the notorious reputation of being a player on 'Vanderpump Rules', rightfully so, considering he has slept with several TomTom & SUR employees. During the reunion episode, host Andy Cohen brought up the topic of Max and his former girlfriend on the show Dayna Kathan. Andy asked Dayna about her current equation with Max, since he's currently her boss as she is working as a bartender at TomTom. Dayna reveals that they are fine.
Then the topic of many of Max's flings and hookups came up when Andy asked Max if he is a 'sex addict'. Max explained that it is a stretch to label him as 'sex addict', and denied being one. Finally, before moving on to the next topic, Andy gave a chance to Max to come clean about his flings with the cast members, when he asked if there is anybody else from the cast members that Max hooked up with aside from Dayna and Scheana Shay.
Max left everybody shocked when he revealed that he hooked up with OG cast member Kristen Doute. As soon as he revealed that, Kristen confirmed it and said that they slept together twice. She defended their hookup by stating that both of them were single and he lived in her neighborhood, so things happened. While the entire cast still tried to wrap their head around the new revelation, Stassi Schroeder immediately began lashing out at Kristen.
Stassi shamed Kristen for hooking up with their friend Dayna's boyfriend. All the cast members turned the heat on Kristen and called her out for breaching Dayna's trust by sleeping with Max. While fans were unhappy with Kristen and Max's hookup, they however felt that it was unfair on the cast members' part to put all the blame on Kristen and not hold Max accountable for cheating on Dayna.

Another fan wrote, "As usual, when a guy & a girl hook up, the girl (Kristen) gets shamed for it & the guy (Max) walks away unscathed. #vanderpumprules #PumpRules."
"I know they’re not shaming Kristen for hooking up with Max, when they were both single. Stassi has some nerve. Should we talk about the time she cheated on Jax? Another fan shared, "Gotta love how Kristen is catching all this heat for sleeping with Max while Max just sits there unscathed, looking like the boring, racist, werewolf twig that he’s been all season. #PumpRules." "But no one said anything to max??? Why is Kristen the only one getting sh*t on???? #PumpRules," wondered a fan.
