'Vanderpump Rules': Does Kristen Doute announce her exit from the show during the reunion?
There's no denying that Season 8 of 'Vanderpump Rules' has been especially hard on Kristen Doute. The OG cast member not only struggled to cope with her breakup from her boyfriend Carter but also lost two of her best friends on the show to misunderstanding. Kristen, Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz have been very close from the beginning. Although they had their fair share of rough patches, the trio always found their way back to one another.
However, things appeared to have changed between them. Stassi and Katie weren't willing to entertain Kristen flip-flopping on her breakup with Carter. The girls felt that it would be in Kristen's best interest to have a clean break from Carter and start things afresh. However, things went south when they realized that Kristen was having second thoughts about her breakup and also was still paying all his bills and taking care of him.
Despite Stassi and Katie explaining how her relationship with Carter might not be healthy for her, Kristen continued being close to Carter behind their back. The girls were finally tired of Kristen and drama and chose to take a break from their friendship. This upset Kristen because she felt like they weren't there for her the way she has always been there for them when they needed her.
During the reunion, we saw Stassi lash out at Kristen for hooking up with Max Boyens behind their friend Dayna Kathan's back. In the upcoming second part of the reunion, we see things between the trio heating up, when Stassi points out how Kristen's actions are painting Katie and her as bad friends. When Kristen continues fighting with Stassi for not being there for her when she needed them, Stassi snaps at her.
In the next scene, we see Kristen angrily declaring, "f**k filming, f**k you all, I'm gone." Lisa Vanderpump and Andy Cohen look shocked at the cast member's temper. Does this mean that Kristen has announced her exit from the show during the reunion? It seems like it. There have been speculations that the reality star may not return for the filming of the next season. We will just have to wait and watch to see how this drama pans out.
