'Vanderpump Rules' Season 8 Reunion: Jax claims he's a work in progress, fans say 'he's never done anything'
Jax Taylor has the innate ability to get on your nerves effortlessly. It was no different during part 3 of the 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 8 reunion. For years, we have seen Jax justify all of his misbehaviors by simply claiming that he is "work in progress". He never seemed apologetic for any of the pain he caused to his loved ones or fellow cast members. He simply painted himself as a victim and got away by saying he is a "work in progress".
After watching it repeat for seven seasons, finally, his fellow cast member Ariana Madix and also the host of the reunion- Andy Cohen, called out Jax for repeating the same line during every reunion but not putting in any real work to back it up. Andy then proceeded to point out how towards the end of the season Jax snapped and revealed that his brain was "sprained" and he needed help. So, Lala Kent's boyfriend Randall Emmett reportedly stepped in to help Jax. Randall not only booked a therapy session for Jax but also paid for it. Despite Randall's kind gesture, Jax failed to show up for his session, When Ariana heard it she lost her cool at Jax and called him out for putting in no work despite claiming to be a 'work in progress'. She also asked the showrunners to skip playing the montage of Jax's claims of being work in progress over the past seven seasons. The editors decided to play the montage anyway.
Fans agreed with Ariana that Jax wasn't doing anything to become a better person and cheered her as she called out her fellow co-star. A fan tweeted, "The people’s queen Ariana!!!! Call that sh*t!!! Many fans slammed Jax for claiming he is work in progress. A fan pointed out, "How can Jax say he's a work in progress? Haven't seen him do any real work on himself.
