In case you missed it, there were some lovely new country music releases this past week, which are definitely worth checking out. On Friday, February 14, the Nashville-based country singer Cary Pearce released her self-titled album, while other popular country music artistes like Russell Dickerson, Rachel Reinert, and Luke Bryan all came out with new singles as well! Talk about a big ol' serving heaped high with all the fixings!

Carly Pearce's new eponymous album is her second full-length studio offering, following her debut record, 'Every Little Thing', which featured the hit single of the same name - that song went on to hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. In November 2018, Carly released the love song 'Closer to You' as the lead-off single to her upcoming sophomore album. A year later in October 2019, she followed that up with the album's second single, 'I Hope You're Happy Now', which was a duet with Lee Brice. And now she's finally released the complete 13-track LP on Valentine's Day - it features some well-written, groovy numbers that are sure to captivate your ears and imagination. To get a better idea, take a listen to 'Call Me' off the new album here:

Having recently married fellow country singer Michael Ray, it's no surprise that Pearce's album also features some fun, romantic tracks like 'Heart’s Going Out Of Its Mind', 'You Kissed Me First' and 'Finish Your Sentences'. But there are also some heartfelt, meaningful songs on this record such as 'Love Has No Heart', 'Woman Down' and 'It Won't Always Be Like This', so there's definitely something for everyone on Carly's latest release! The Union City-based country singer, Russell Dickerson, who has performed with Carly Pearce in the past, also released a brand-new single last week on February 11. This one's called 'Love You Like I Used To' and Russell is calling it "one of my favorite songs and one of the best songs I’ve ever written," telling Billboard "I’m super proud of it.” The singer also hopes that it will perform as well as the three No.1 smash hits that preceded it, 'Yours', 'Blue Tacoma' and 'Every Little Thing', and why shouldn't it? Considering this song was also written with his longtime collaborators Parker Welling and Casey Brown, the duo that helped co-write his previous three chart-toppers, it certainly sounds like a sure-fire success!

This touching love song talks about how the 32-year-old singer's feelings grow bigger and stronger for his partner with every each and every passing day. Russell Dickerson will be debuting this romantic song on the road later this month, when he opens for Kane Brown as part of the Worldwide Beautiful Tour. It begins in Atlantic City on February 29, so make sure you catch that if he's coming to a city near you! Another talented country singer, Rachel Reinert, released a new single this Valentine's weekend, and unsurprisingly, it's a love song. The former Gloriana frontwoman dropped the track 'Some Kind Of Angel' on Friday, February 14, revealing on social media that this was "the first love song I ever wrote for my husband, which feels appropriate to release today since we got engaged on Valentine’s day 1 year ago. But this song isn’t just for the couples - most of us have one angel friend or family member in our lives, so tell them you love them."

The 30-year-old artiste officially married her loving partner of five years, musician Caleb Crosby, during an intimate ceremony in Tennessee on August 30, 2019. Talking about 'Some Kind Of Angel', Rachel told People that "the whole vibe and feeling captures his essence perfectly. He is such a light and has been there for me through some difficult times. I really do look at him as my angel." You can listen to the wonderfully romantic song by clicking here

The country music superstar Luke Bryan (Credit: Luke Bryan)

Rounding off the great country music blockbuster weekend, it's none other than 'American Idol' judge and international country superstar, Luke Bryan! The singer recently announced plans for his seventh studio album, 'Born Here Live Here Die Here', which will be about paying homage to the crooner's roots. And on February 14, the 43-year-old singer officially released the nostalgic track that bears the same name as the upcoming LP. 'Born Here Live Here Die Here' is about one of Luke Bryan's fondest dreams - living the good ol' small-town life in the hometown he was born & raised in.

Speaking to People, Luke Bryan said, "The second I heard ‘Born Here Live Here Die Here’ it related to me - how I grew up, how I have so many roots and so many ties to my hometown, and being tied to your hometown is very important in country music.” The singer also revealed, “I fell in love with the song right away and now we have an album and tour derived from this song — it’s pretty amazing.” The song's pretty amazing too, you can listen to & pre-order it by clicking here! Stay tuned for more country music goodness that will be featured in the future!
