WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris recently participated in an interview with CBS' '60 Minutes,' during which she discussed the economic policies of the Biden administration and shared insights on the potential outcomes of the 2024 election, according to Axios.

Although the interview has received some compliments, it is evident that there is a split in opinions on the Internet regarding its evaluation.

Kamala Harris pressed on youth dissatisfaction with Biden's performance

In the course of the interview, Bill Whitaker of CBS addressed concerns regarding the approval ratings of the Biden-Harris ticket.

He specifically highlighted the findings of a recent CBS poll, which revealed that fewer than 50% of young people believe President Biden is performing well, marking a 20% decline from the beginning of his term.

In response to this, Harris highlighted the importance of addressing issues that matter to young people, such as climate change and student loan debt.

She also suggested that a lack of media coverage may contribute to the perception problem, asserting, "The work we are doing is very popular with a lot of people."

Kamala Harris' take on prospects for 2024 US elections

Harris was questioned about why the Biden-Harris ticket was not enjoying a more significant lead in the polls, given former President Trump's legal challenges, including facing 91 criminal counts in multiple jurisdictions.

In her response, Harris refrained from making political predictions but expressed confidence in the choice the American people would make at election time, stating, "We're gonna win. And I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. But we will win. I have no doubt."

She also emphasized the need for hard work and active participation to achieve this victory.

Internet reacts to Kamala Harris' '60 Minutes' interview

While some observers, like political analyst Brian Allen, praised Harris's performance, the Internet's reaction to the interview has been less flattering.

One internet user on a social media platform X remarked, "These parody accounts are hilarious," suggesting that the interview seemed too extraordinary to be true.

Another user asked, "Is this an SNL sketch?" alluding to the interview's tone. The skepticism extended further, with one user describing the interview as "utter nonsense" and another simply stating, "Great joke! This is hilarious."

In the midst of these reactions, another user thanked the source of amusement, saying, "Thanks. Always great to start a new week with a laugh."
