Utah man allegedly groped, sodomized and forced 11-year-old girl to perform oral sex while giving her a tattoo
EAST CARBON, UTAH: An Utah man has been arrested and charged after police said an 11-year-old girl complained that he sodomized her while giving her a tattoo.
Police turned their attention to Michael Easley, 24, of East Carbon, after they were contacted by a concerned woman who reported that her granddaughter had told her one of her friends had been sexually assaulted by him, according to KUTV.
A statement of probable cause for his arrest, which was filed in the 7th District Court this past week, states that the 11-year-old victim told her friends that Easley played with her breasts, penetrated her with his fingers, and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
When questioned, the friends confirmed the incident and told investigators that at least one other girl was present when Easley allegedly abused the victim.
However, when an officer with the East Carbon Police Department interviewed the victim, she denied going to Easley's home or that anything had happened. When the officer then talked to the friend, he heard a different story. The friend confirmed they were both at the 24-year-old's home the night the alleged abuse occurred and that he was giving the victim a tattoo.
After further questioning and back-and-forth, the victim admitted she and her friend had gone to Easley's house to "smoke weed and cigarettes" and that he had sexually abused her that night.
"While there, Michael began giving the victim a tattoo on her breast," reads the probable cause. "During that time he started playing with the victim's breast. He digitally penetrated her, and then made her perform oral sex on him."
Easley was arrested on Sunday, September 29, and booked into Carbon County Jail on charges of sodomy of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and unlawful tattooing of a minor.
While the 24-year-old is yet to be indicted for the sexual abuse, he is currently being held without bail due to an ongoing but separate case involving drug possession charges.
