Ultimate Rap League (URL), commonly referred to as SMACK/URL, is one of the most popular battle events in the battle rap scene. URL is based out of New York and is owned by Troy ‘Smack White’ Mitchell, Eric Beasley, and Cheeko French from Queens, New York City.

URL originally grew out of the popular series of street DVDs known as S.M.A.C.K. DVD (an acronym for Street Music, Arts, Culture & Knowledge) that ran between 2002 and 2008. The battle rap league was founded in the year 2009.

Since the inception of the battle league, a lot of artistes have extended their support to the initiative. Artistes like Sean Combs, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Q-Tip, Joe Budden, Cassidy, Jay-Z, Funkmaster Flex, Jadakiss, Lupe Fiasco, Kevin Durant, Nick Cannon, Lloyd Banks, French Montana, and Mos Def among other have exhibited their love towards the league on different occasions.

Now, URL is coming with the newest season of Summertime Madness in collaboration with the live streaming website called Caffeine. Read on to know all the important details about the much-anticipated battle rap event.

What is URL’s Summertime Madness 10 about?

Summertime Madness is one of the most legendary events in the battle rap scene across the globe. Currently, in its 10th edition, the biggest names in the rap battle will go head-to-head to claim the coveted title. URL had announced the newest edition of the rap battle league on September 16 via their official Twitter account.
