Lexi Martone is definitely an opinionated woman who sticks by her guns. Be it her style, creativity or even her ideas, she sticks by them with conviction no matter what the case. And if you find your way into her bad books, you can best believe that you might be stuck there for a while.

It is no secret that Lexi does not like her sister Bria's now-husband, Matt Mancuso. In fact, saying that she doesn't like him is almost an understatement. Lexi has not hesitated to express just how much she hates Matt and has even openly said it to him as well as Bria. So what exactly happened between the two that resulted in Lexi not being able to look at Matt? While Matt seems to be cordial and willing to bury the hatchet, Lexi is far from willing to let the matter slide.

What caused this massive rift between the two?

It's easy to see that the Martone family is exceptionally close. Lexi is extremely protective of her family. Lexi, Matt and Bria have known each other for over 10 years, seeing that the trio was even in high school together. Unfortunately, that's where the issue begins. Back in high school, there was a rumor about how Matt had slept with Lexi and Bria's mother Jennifer. Worst of all, the rumor was allegedly spread by Matt himself, as per this Reddit thread that recaps the situation. After some point, the family forgave Matt for the entire incident, for the sake of Bria's happiness. However, Lexi found it hard to let go of the whole incident and still holds Matt accountable.

Has Lexi finally forgiven Matt?

Lexi was hurt by the fact that Bria didn't allow her to say a few words at the Bridal shower. So when it came to the speech at the wedding, Bria maintained that it was best if Lexi didn't say anything at all. Lexi, who wanted to share a few words about her little sister on her wedding day was visibly hurt by this, which led to a massive argument between the two. Lexi threatened not to go to the wedding at all while Bria implied that she really shouldn't. Lexi did show up at the wedding, seeing that she was the maid of honor (or maid of horror as she crowned herself). The sisters made up, with Bria even asking Lexi to say a few words provided she didn't attack Matt, at least not on his wedding day, in front of his family. Lexi had nothing but sweet and supportive words when it came to Bria and with regard to Matt, much to everyone's surprise, she suggested that they leave the past behind, seeing that he's now family.

It looks like they might have just buried the hatchet. And even if they haven't we're going to have to wait for the next season of 'Unpolished' to find out.
