What was Foxy's dating advice for Lexi Martone? 'Unpolished' star tells granny she needs a man, not a boy

Saying that Lexi Martone is currently under a lot of pressure is a bit of an understatement. Between handling the salon and the piling bills and her sister Bria's wedding, this season of 'Unpolished' is really pushing her to her limit. Among all this chaos, it doesn't help that the oldest Martone daughter is nursing a broken heart after she ended her relationship with Joe Fraumeni. It was rather hard to watch, especially since Martone seemed convinced initially that she'd truly found something special with Fraumeni.

But Martone is an ambitious woman, with a lot of drive. So when he failed to match her energy, Martone knew that their relationship had run its course. While we see her trying to get back into the dating game on the show, Martone has taken to her Instagram live time and again to confirm that she is still single and as she likes to put it, her relationship status is 'drunk as f**k'.

Seeing that her parents and her grandparents were both in long-term relationships, Martone recently took to Instagram once again, where she chatted with her fans before the episode could air. Joined by her best friend and colleague, Ashley, the two took on a range of questions from fans and were later joined by none other than Foxy, Martone's grandmother.

Martone's grandparents, fondly known as Foxy and Papa Joe, have been together for decades and if anyone is qualified to give out love advice, it's them. Which is exactly what Martone did — asked Foxy for advice when it came to love. While she did maintain that love is a wonderful thing and they got lucky, saying that she and her husband became one person and that they can't do without each other, she did dish out some Foxy-esque words of wisdom.

"You are who you are and if he's not good looking, then pfft," she added. She also maintained that sometimes, being old school when it comes to these things really is the best way to deal with it. "You got to love, you got to forgive and forget. You got to be happy," she told viewers and her granddaughter. "Just don't get trash!" she added. Lexi agreed, saying that she needs a man and not a boy and unfortunately, she can't seem to find 'those' in 2021.

Well Lexi, we hope some of Foxy's good luck rubs off on you.
