Jenna Ronan’s father Matt doesn't want his ex-wife to be at the baby shower that he was going to throw for Jenna. But Jenna cannot imagine having a baby shower without her mother.

Previously, we saw Matt (42) give in to her materialistic wishes when it came to buying her a luxury car for her 17th birthday or turning the spare room in the house into a nursery because she didn’t want to give up her bunny’s space for the baby’s crib. But when it came to inviting her mother Heather to the baby shower, her father strictly opposed the idea.

Previously we saw Jenna meet her mother in a cafe and discuss the gender-reveal party situation. Jenna confessed to the camera that it wasn’t normal to throw two baby showers just because your family doesn't get along. She told her mother they needed to find a way to fix the situation and patch things up. Jenna told her mom that it was important for the baby to see that it was one family. “It’s called maturity,” Jenna said and Heather agreed.

The 17-year-old was not only able to convince her mother to have one gender reveal party but also convinced her to come over to her father Matt’s place for the event. Heather agreed on one condition that she wouldn’t attend the party as a guest but would actively contribute to the event. Even though the mother-daughter duo sorted everything out, there was still one more thing Jenna needed to do. Tell Matt about the plan and the fact that she had invited her mother over to her place.

A viewer of the show wrote, “Look we don't really know why they can't be in the same place. I can see why she wants that and can understand, but you can't force people who don't get along to be in the same place.” Another wrote, “I could go on and on and ON..... how Jenna is spoiled but it is her parents fault as much as hers. I truly wish they would remove them off the show. I'm so thankful I have a skip button!”

“This young girl needs a reality check. She should show her father respect and stop being such a spoiled brat. Her father seems to bend over backward to show her love and acceptance and she continues to disrespect him. There isn't anything wrong with having two Baby Showers when both sides of the family don't get along with each other. Her dad is entitled to his feelings and if he feels uncomfortable having her mom around him then Jenna should respect that. God Bless,” wrote yet another.

At this point, we are curious to know what exactly went wrong between Jenna’s parents and why was Matt holding such a grudge against her mother.

Previously, we saw Matt and Heather split up when Jenna was relatively younger. She was initially living with her mom but soon realized it was a better idea to live with her father and so she moved. Her father had confessed to the camera that he wouldn’t allow Heather to come to the baby shower. “It’s not gonna happen, not over my dead body,” he said. Her mother’s presence or lack of it at the baby shower will probably answer why exactly Jenna’s dad resents her mom.
