'Undercover Boss': Shreveport mayor Adrian Perkins tours city in disguise, fans label him 'awesome'
'Undercover Boss' aired an interesting, off-beat episode this week where Shreveport mayor Adrian Perkins put up makeup and fake hair to understand the workings of the city and the gaps can be bridged. He began his journey through the city with the fire department where he hung out with the men and tried to absorb how they function while tackling a high-stress environment. Turns out it's more difficult than we think it to be.
Getting into the fire suit is a task in itself and it bothers Adrian that the firefighters don't have a change of uniform because they get into the same suit every time they have to rush to douse a fire. It's a health hazard for them because the suit catches some of the ashes and there are chances of these men inhaling the remnants of it.
Meanwhile, fans cannot stop praising Adrian's efforts and how it was a great idea to go around the city as a regular person so that he would get a better handle on the challenges the city's people face on a daily basis. They demand that politicians should be sent on similar journeys where they get to learn what's really happening in their area. "I caught it at the tail end when he was sitting down with the city's employees... Awesome to see #AdrianPerkins@PerkinsforLA on #UndercoverBoss," a fan commented, while another shared: "Omg @MayorofShreveport #AdrianPerkins Wow!! You are awesome! #undercoverboss."

"#UnderCoverBoss. I can’t wait to see what changes the Mayor will be able to do for his city employees on a limited budget. Honestly, though leaders need to understand its a balance between money and recognition, empathy, and appreciation for the work," a user commented. "A *MAYOR* is going onto "Undercover Boss" tonight. This should be required for ALL elected officials. Or have term limits, so folks have to go back home. -E #UndercoverBoss #CBS #TermLimits," a user expressed, while another posted: "@Undercoverboss Between the Mayor and the firefighter, that's too much hotness on my screen. #UndercoverBoss."
