During the intense courtroom interrogation, Kelly vehemently denies any involvement in Reena's death. When pressed by the lawyers about her role in the tragic events, Kelly accuses others of attempting to shift blame onto her.

However, after meticulously assessing the evidence presented during the trial, as well as the testimonies of key witnesses, the judge reaches a decisive verdict: Kelly is found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Reena. The judge imposes the minimum sentence of five years in prison on Kelly.

As the courtroom proceedings conclude with Kelly's conviction for second-degree murder in Reena's death, a sense of relief washes over Cam and Reena's grieving family.

Kelly is escorted back to the detention center where she was initially held pending trial, yet she displays no signs of remorse or sadness for her actions.

In the final scene during the written credits, it is revealed that Kelly appealed her conviction and was granted two trials. Despite the prolonged legal battle spanning over a decade, Kelly was ultimately sentenced to life in prison.

In 2016, Kelly finally took responsibility for her role in Reena's death while seeking day parole. In 2010, Warren was ultimately granted parole after Reena's parents advocated on his behalf.

'Under the Bridge' Episode 8 is now streaming on Hulu.
