The movie 'Uncharted' is set to hit theaters later this month after a long and winding road. The film is packed with action and adventure and it will keep you glued to the screen the entire time. While Nathan Drake's adventures began on PlayStation, Tom Holland will play the character in a  story that will show us how he became the treasure hunter we all know and love.

Victor Sully Sullivan, a seasoned treasure hunter, hires streetwise Nathan Drake to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada. What all is ‘Uncharted’ all about? 

According to Sony Pictures, street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas) who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother... but only if they can learn to work together.



 

Who stars in ‘Uncharted’?

Tom Holland

UK actor Tom Holland began his acting career on the West End stage in the title role of 'Billy Elliot the Musical' at the Victoria Palace Theater from 2008 to 2010. He is a graduate of the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in London. He then went on to star in 'The Impossible' (2012), for which he won the London Film Critics Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year.



 

Mark Wahlberg

The American actor is one of only a few well-known entertainers who have successfully transitioned from teen pop idol to acclaimed actor. Wahlberg is a solid comedy actor, as proven by his starring role in 'Ted'. He was a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee for 'The Departed' (2006) and went on to receive positive critical reviews for his performance in 'The Fighter' (2010).
