'Uncharted' hit the cinemas on February 18, a little later than it was supposed to, but the Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg-starrer promises a globe-trotting modern-day adventure. While critics weighed in on the movie that's based on Sony's 'Uncharted' at one end, the early audience reviews were mixed ranging from amazing to meh. Tom Holland as the titular character Nathan Drake garnered lavish praise on social media as did Wahlberg for his portrayal of Victor 'Sully' Sullivan.

The film follows Drake as he and Sully search for the fabled treasure of the Magellan expedition.  Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas star in key roles and serve as a prequel to the games. "I will say #Uncharted wasn't terrible, it just felt kind of lackluster There was a good handful of things I was like "Oh that was in the game" but it felt like it never wanted to move past those and try to do something all on its own,' one of the fans opined.

"#Uncharted proved once again, never trust Rotten Tomatoes or any other critics. See the movie for yourself and then judge it. This film was an absolute blast and I loved it from start to finish. Really hope they go forward on a second one," a fan tweeted. "My wife as we are leaving #Uncharted "That wasn't good... I don't ever need to watch that again." She liked the acting, hated the Fast and Furious style over the top feeling it had. My opinion is it's a great rental or stream," another fan opined.
