'Game of Thrones' season 8 episode 4 sees Tyrion Lannister make his cleverest move yet and it'll give you great joy to hear it
SPOILER ALERT SEASON 8 EPISODE 4
He usually drinks and he usually knows things but this may just have been the smartest move Tyrion Lannister could have possibly pulled on 'Game of Thrones'.
When Dany, the Unsullied and Tyrion came down to King's Landing to talk to Cersei and try to make a truce happen, Cersei, unsurprisingly turned on them all. She had the Mountain slit her prisoner Missandei's throat as Grey Worm, the love of her life and her Khaleesi, Daenerys, watched. Her head toppled down the wall like a wet ball of fireworks and her body fell spouting blood behind Tyrion's back - as he turned away unable to see what his sister had just done. But, before all of this went down and Dany left fuming, Tyrion may have strategically placed a seed of doubt in Cersei's greatest ally at the moment - Euron Grejoy.
When Tyrion came to plead with his sister to get her head on straight and to surrender, he said that she didn't have to die even if her reign was going to. He tells her, "I know you don't care about your people. Why should you? They hate you and you hate them. But you're not a monster. I know this. I know this because I've seen it. You've always loved your children, more than yourself, more than Jaime, more than anything. I beg you, if not for yourself then for your child. Your reign is over. But that doesn't mean your life has to end. It doesn't mean your baby has to die." Now, in case you didn't notice it, Euron gives her a look. The camera focuses too long on Cersei, implying that she didn't expect that to come out.
Euron literally found out about the pregnancy just hours before the war so unless she had been sending ravens to Tyrion talking about baby pics, he couldn't have possibly known. He also wasn't around when the two had their little alone time - so there's no way he could have known. Unless, of course, she had been pregnant even before they met and bam! There goes Cersei's Kracken fleet. Euron may be a lowlife, vulgar pirate, but he isn't stupid. He knows exactly what he's dealing with and it will not take him much time to figure out that his queen had a thing with Jamie.
