'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 23 Spoilers: Is CJ and Janine's relationship on the rocks again?
Relationships are all over the place in the upcoming episode of 'House Of Payne', including that of CJ and Janine, who are normally the most steady ones.
We're back to discussing the future of Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda (Keshia Knight Pulliam).... for those of you who were missing their travails. After spending several episodes on Jazmine (China Anne McClaine) and her relationship with Kaleb, we've come back to the main leads, who fans have dubbed as quite toxic.
Calvin and Miranda were married once and they had severe issues that involved being downright nasty with each other till Miranda finally ended their relationship and said that she wanted a divorce. This happened several years ago but Miranda now wants her husband back. Calvin is doing much better for himself than he did before, and appears to have some purpose in life. And, he doesn't want Miranda back.
Calvin appears to have moved on with Laura...a woman who Miranda knows well. In Episode 12, Laura comes to tell a brooding Calvin that she still loves him, but only after letting him know that what Miranda had said about him "were not lies". She dutifully lets him know that Miranda said that he was unambitious and had a wandering eye, to which Calvin's only response was "I'm a man".
Nevertheless, they managed to reconcile with a kiss. Miranda walks in on them at that point. Yet, she still doesn't seem to have given up hope and keeps trying to run into him.
However, going by the latest episode synopsis, several relationships seem to be in flux and not just that of Miranda and Calvin. For the millionth time, Calvin tells his family to cut off from Miranda. Yet, what intrigues us more is what's with the issue of CJ (Allen Payne) and Janine (Demetria McKinney)? They've had their rough time already and managed to stand by each other's side, even when things got really bad between them during Janine's drug abuse phase. This might worry fans, a little.
The synopsis reads, "Calvin demands that the family not have contact with Miranda. Janine and CJ question their happiness. Lisa and Malik disagree about relationship roles. C.J. teaches them a lesson and to Malik's surprise he gets him a job by babysitting the twins and Calvin and Miranda's kids."
'House Of Payne' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on BET.
