'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 15 Preview: Does Jazmine's boyfriend Kaleb struggle with drug addiction?
Jazmine (China Anne McClain) is back to taking centerstage on 'House Of Payne'. In the previous episode of the Tyler Perry show, Janine (Demetria McKinney) panics after finding a vape pen and weed mints in her pocket. She and CJ (Payne) are not sure how to tackle this, as they're also caught between planning out a birthday party for their Aunt Ella (Cassi Davis Patton).
Janine is worried that this might be her fault, given her own history with drug abuse. Before they can talk to Jazmine, however, Ella decides to plan her own surprise birthday, as she is not aware that her husband Curtis (LaVan Davis) is already doing the same thing. However, she forgets all about her birthday when she sees the vape pen. Considering that she works at the help center, she knows just what exactly vape pens are. The episode ended before CJ and Janine could talk to Jazmine. The Payne family are very concerned about what could be happening with Jazmine.
Moreover, going by the synopsis for the next episode, Jazmine's boyfriend Kaleb is back in the picture. Remember the episode where she confessed she was feeling pressured into having sex? Yeah, that was a while ago as HOP tends to pick up and drop story threads pretty quickly, but turns out we're going back to that. The synopsis for the episode reads, "Ella notices Jazmine getting closer to Kaleb. CJ and Janine get to know Jazmine’s Kaleb. A vape pen is accidentally left at Curtis and Ella’s." Fans were convinced that the vape pen didn't belong to Jazmine. Does the vape pen belong to Jazmine, or her boyfriend? THAT could be a possibility.
Meanwhile, what's happening on the Calvin (Lance Gross) and Miranda front? Their story was the focus for the past five episodes or so, as Calvin had decided to move ahead with his new girlfriend Laura, and Miranda realized that he was not coming back to her...even though they just shared a kiss a while back, something the show hadn't addressed.
