Two new South Wales police officers have been accused of trying to rape a teenage girl, 17, and also of filming themselves sexually assaulting the girl who is said to be from Sydney. The two senior officers, James Delinicolis, 29, and Angelo Dellosa, 30, from the state's Police Transport Command are at the center of the alleged crime committed against the schoolgirl.

Delinicolis and Dellosa had been arrested post a series of raids across three locations in Western Sydney during the early hours of Wednesday, August 5. The two were charged with several offenses and were also refused bail at the Sutherland Local Court. According to the Daily Telegraph, police had set up Strike Force Bensbach after they had received an anonymous complaint about the two in June which led to an investigation by the Professional Standards Unit.

Police sources revealed that the two had met the teenage girl in Sydney's south-west. The police have alleged that the two officers are from Bankstown's Public Transport Command. The New South Wales police have only released details of the arrest and charges on the afternoon of August 5. The two officers were suspended without pay and will remain behind bars until September 15 for their next court appearance.

Dellosa has been charged with incite aggravated sexual assault, attempted aggravated sexual assault in company, and produce child abuse material. Delinicolis on the other hand was charged with attempted aggravated sexual assault in company, produce child abuse material, and misconduct in public office. The two cops were slammed across social media with users calling them out on their sickening act.

One such user had written, "And we think using cops instead of contract security guards would've stopped people in hotel quarantine getting shagged do we? Welcome to reality folks. Every industry has its % of scumbags."

Another had added, "Typical of NSW police. Anyone telling you that there a good NSW cops is lying."

Yet another commented and said, "Wonder how many of their Co-workers will say that....'they were good blokes'."

In another case, a man who posed as a police officer with a handgun raped a New South Wales woman on the last day of her coronavirus isolation. He also told a second woman that she would go to jail if she did not sleep with him, ABC.net reveals. The man who has not been named for legal reasons was charged with two counts of rape and two counts of impersonating police after the alleged attack at an Adelaide city hotel.

Prosecutors told Magistrate Greg Fisher that the first victim had answered the door thinking he was a police officer. He said, "She's been in isolation, she's from New South Wales — it was day 14 of her isolation."

"There was a knock at the door and the male provided a police ID card. He said he was checking on her due to the coronavirus so she let the male in," he added. The prosecutor told the court how he handcuffed the woman to a sofa before showing her a handgun in his jacket. He also demanded money from her after which he raped her.
