WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden will address its citizens for the State of the Union (SOTU) on Tuesday, February 7. Everyone is eagerly waiting to know what he shall include in his speech and how it will be presented. This will be Biden's second State of the Union after he was elected. 

The internet is now busy adding instructions and reactions for the State of the Union, as per New York Post. The State of the Union will enlist insights on where the president thinks the country stands, where it is headed, and what his priorities are ahead of an expected announcement that he will officially run for reelection.

What to expect from Joe Biden's State of the Union address?

According to NPR, the outlet claims that the president shall bring in issues such as unemployment, economy, and inflation, issues ranging from crime and guns to immigration and the war in Ukraine. Biden will also call out for unity among its citizens. The invasion of china and the recent spy balloon will be major discussion points. Thinking from a national security standpoint, the president will address his efforts to strengthen US military alliances in Asia, and efforts to prevent any military confrontation over Taiwan. He will also address climate change and specifically the climate-focused Inflation Reduction Act. He will also explain policies on Covid-19 and mental health aspects. On the Education front, he will also state about his efforts to erase up to $20,000 in federal student loan debt per borrower. Economy, gun violence, immigration and opioids will be other topics of discussion.

What is the SOTU drinking game?

Rules for the game vary from state to state. To participate in the game, it is mandatory that we should have a beverage to consume and take one drink when Biden speaks about job growth, low unemployment rate, Ukraine, or any mention of the Chinese spy balloon. Take two drinks when the President mentions the Inflation Reduction Act, climate change, Covid-related funding and federal student debt. Take three drinks when Biden says, "Come on, man!", "Here's the deal" or if there's any mention of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin or Kamala Harris. Further, listeners can finish the drink if someone walks out in protest or when he says "God Bless America" and when Democrats give Biden a standing ovation while members of the GOP remain seated, as per Distractify.
