Tucker Carlson claims media refused to report on 'gay crack-smoking' Obama ahead of 2008 election
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tucker Carlson reiterated claims that Barack Obama smoked crack and had relations with men but alleges the media didn't report this before the 2008 presidential election.
He echoed Larry Sinclair's accusation that Obama used cocaine and engaged in a sexual encounter in 1999. These claims emerged while Obama was running for president and were criticized as potential political manipulation.
Tucker Carlson claims Barack Obama smoked crack and had 'gay sex'
During an appearance on the 'Adam Carolla Show' on Wednesday, August 30, Carlson claimed that Obama's alleged gay affair was "really clear."
He suggested that the media refrained from covering the story due to purported threats from the Obama campaign, who allegedly warned of limited access to the Democratic candidate.
Carlson, 54, said, "In 2008, it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack."
"A guy came forward, Larry Sinclair, and said 'I'll sign an affidavit' and he did, 'I'll do a lie detector' and he did," Carlson added. "'I smoked crack with Barack Obama and had sex with him', that was obviously true."
Who is Larry Sinclair?
Larry Sinclair claimed that he and the then-Senator Obama had used cocaine and had a sexual encounter in 1999. Sinclair has a criminal history and has served time for forgery, fraud, and larceny in Arizona, Florida, and Colorado.
Sinclair also claimed that the former president had another male partner and implied a connection to that person's death. These claims were elaborated upon in Sinclair's self-published book from 2009 titled 'Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder?'
Carlson was referring to statements made by Sinclair at the National Press Club in 2008 during Obama's presidential campaign. Carlson highlighted that these claims went unreported, attributing the lack of coverage to alleged threats from the Obama campaign.
"Nobody reported it not because they were squeamish about sex or drugs but because the Obama campaign said anyone who reports on this gets no access to the Obama campaign," he said. "So, they didn't report on it."
"The amount of lying in the media about it was unbelievable. This happens all the time up and down government," Carlson added.
