It seems like not just President Donald Trump, but even his wax statue is made to follow Covid-19 precautions. The POTUS is right now in quarantine at the White House and his wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam is following suit as it is put in quarantine after the President and First Lady Melania Trump both tested positive for Covid-19.

The prominent and world-famous wax museum is isolating Trump in the museum's front window. It added a blue and white surgical mask over his statue's mouth and nose as visible from photos used by media organizations. The statue is placed near a glass window and has "caution quarantine area" boards near the figure. Furthermore, criss-cross yellow tapings enclosed the statue alluding to some danger if someone goes near it.

Madame Tussauds' twitter handle posted about the statue on October 6. It captioned, "A polite reminder to guests to keep your face masks on at Madame Tussauds London." In that tweet, the picture that the museum has posted shows a close-up of Trump wearing a black mask. It is not known if the museum later changed the mask covering for the statue as the color of mask is different in some pics used by media portals and the ones posted by museum. However, the message of quarantine is clear.

With this gesture, it looks like Madame Tussauds' POTUS is taking the virus more seriously than the real president who has downplayed it and even appeared without a mask. As seen on October 6, Trump returned to the White House having still battling the contagious virus and tore off his face mask for a photo op. He further told Americans to not fear the virus that has killed 210,000 people nationwide.

TMZ reported that there is no word on how long the wax figure will be in quarantine, but 14 days is pretty standard, it states. The motive behind the quarantining of Trump's wax statue is to spread awareness regarding the virus that differentiates between no one — big or small in stature.

No sooner did the news drop about Trump's wax statue being covered with a mask, the Internet was abuzz with comments. Many people felt the wax statue of Trump is more vigilant than the real POTUS. A user wrote mockingly, "I'd rather have this wax figure as our president! No, I'd rather have Alec Baldwin as Trump as our president! Just anyone other than Trump please."

A user shared a photo and joked, "This is the most accurate depiction of all of us trying to figure out if Trump is faking, over exaggerating, under exaggerating, doped out of his mind on steroids, an animatronic wax figure."

A user drew a comparison between the real Trump and the statue, "When the real trump is too stupid to Quarantine, the smarter wax figure Trump will quarantine President Trump's Wax Figure Put in Quarantine.” Another user lashed at Trump's response to Covid-19, "Trump's CHINA FIRST. On Feb 7th Trump tells Woodward how deadly the virus is. Trump's priority was to protect China, he lied to Americans downplaying the threat so he could send 18 tons of PPE to China. America First is just another lie."
