President Donald J. Trump bragged about his TV ratings during a rally Tuesday night as he urged voters not to cast their ballot for "boring" Democratic nominee Joe Biden. "Nobody's going to be interested in politics anymore," Trump said of the outcome if former Vice President Biden wins on November 3.

The POTUS has nicknamed his Democratic challenger 'Sleepy Joe' and often questioned his mental fitness and stamina to hold public office. In fact, Trump furnished yet another sobriquet for his rival Tuesday evening: "Gonzo Joe."

Anti-Trump social media users pounced on the President's remarks, saying "boring" politics is exactly what they need after his "circus freak show" presidency.

"GOOD!!!! I want boring. I want mind-numbingly dull! I wanna wake up and not see hashtag Trump meltdown every day. I want Biden to be so boring that he makes my 8th grade Earth Science teacher look like a raver with attention deficit disorder," one tweeted.

"When Trump told the Erie crowd that Biden is going to be "boring!" I want boring and responsible, not loud and irresponsible. I want a President, not a Reality TV President! I want normalcy back in the White House! I want Joe Biden! 13 Days #boringiswhatweneed #JOEBIDEN2020," another added.

"I WANT all the BORING POLITICS. All of it. Give me MISTER BIDEN'S NEIGHBORHOOD over exciting trump's circus freak show," a third wrote.

"Trump ad-libbed at his rally that if Joe Biden is elected, he will be too boring for people to even care about government. Who's with me on dreaming of 'boring?" #BidenCoalition #WeCanSleepAtNightJoe," a fourth added.

"Closing arguments from the right: A Biden presidency will be boring whereas a second Trump term will hasten the apocalypse," another chimed in.

Trump held his eighth campaign rally in five days in Erie, Pennsylvania on Tuesday evening. The clamorous rally saw the President blast his Democratic rival, just days before the second and final face-to-face debate in Nashville, Tennessee Thursday night.

The second debate, which was originally scheduled for last week in Miami, Florida, was canceled after the virtual restructuring of the event did not sit well with the President. Trump, on Tuesday, also blamed his 2016 opponent Hillary Clinton for a technical glitch in the program. At one point, the president's microphone cut out -- which is rare for a Trump rally -- before he tapped on the head of the mic and it turned back on a few seconds later. "Is the mic ready? Yes. I wonder who did that to our mic," Trump quipped. "I don't believe it was Joe. You know who it was, Crooked Hillary. I think it was probably Crooked Hillary."

The president once again concluded the night with his iconic dance moves to The Village People's 'YMCA', which he now uses to wrap up his rallies. Trump's awkward moves have proven to be a hit online, even sparking a TikTok trend dubbed the "Trump Dance."

Last month, Victor Willis of The Village People said Trump was welcome to use “YMCA” at his campaign rallies, but expressed a wish to see the commander-in-chief do the iconic dance as well. That said, the President is also known to play “Macho Man” from The Village People at his events.
