Did Trump plant Amish men behind him at Pennsylvania rally? Internet asks 'how dumb does he think we are'
After the Bible-toting MAGA nuns of Ohio, it seems like President Donald Trump has reportedly decided to play the Amish card in Pennsylvania. While the POTUS was previously accused of planting nuns behind him at the Ohio rally, this time it looks like strategically-placed Amish supporters at the rally in Pennsylvania are drawing flak for the Republican leader.
According to one Twitter user, Trump had deliberately hired supporters for his rally on Monday, October 26, in Lancaster County which is a dominantly Amish community. One user shared, "Trump's campaign should do their homework before hiring their 'supporters'." The user had shared an image of Trump at the rally with a man in a traditional Amish straw hat and bread who also seemed to wear earbuds, behind him in clear view.
"The Amish fellow in the left of this picture is shown wearing earbuds and jacket with a zipper; the Amish shun both. And, wait for it........ Amish don't VOTE!" the user added.

In a video that was shared online, Trump had mentioned having the Pennsylvania Dutch in his crowd and giving a thumbs-up. Several Amish men had responded by giving him a thumbs-up behind him.
At the rally that was held at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, Trump had said, "Don't tell anybody, but the Pennsylvania Dutch are voting en masse. They're voting. I heard that the other day," he was noted saying, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Trump said, "They said, 'We work hard. We can't have a man who sleeps all day in the basement'."
A group of Amish men can be seen in the background in the front row of the rally though whether they will really vote or not is unknown. Some Twitter users were of the opinion that the Amish attendees were allegedly either hired or were Trump supporters dressed up for the rally. They had also alleged that at another Trump rally, nuns had been hired to attend the rally and were seen sporting MAGA face coverings, strategically placed right behind Trump's podium, according to our report.
Many users took to social media to comment on the same. One such user shared, "Pennsylvania Amish are VERY strict. I live an hour from Lancaster and in the 30 minute radius you can see them ridding their horse drawn buggies and gathering water. I doubt they would go to a rally or even utilize any means to figure out when the events would occur."
Another user had written, "That might well be, but as a Mennonite, I cannot imagine any which way I could support Trump, given every doctrine I've learned about my faith heritage." Yet another added, "Amish are notoriously known to keep out of politics. It's actually part of their religion to stay out of that crap. Oh, and they have still probably paid more federal taxes than Trumo."

"It’s Halloween season. All the costumes are out. They can have their paid supporters be all kinds of things these days. The other day, there were nuns. Today...Amish," wrote another user. Yet another who echoed the same sentiments chimed in, "Very few Amish vote because they shun the government and don't accept any government funding."
"am I rlly supposed to believe the actual Amish attended a trump rally and just happened to be on camera? no seriously how dumb does trump think we r," wrote another.

According to the York Daily Record, the Amish seem to shun political activism. One Amish man spoke about not voting and said, "I read in the Bible, my Kingdom is not of this world. As followers of Jesus, we don't believe in political power."
