President Donald Trump on Thursday railed against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter in his first campaign rally since an impeachment inquiry was launched against the Republican.

Trump, during the event, called Joe Barack Obama's "ass kisser" and described his son as a "loser".

"He was only a good Vice President because he understood how to kiss Barack Obama's ass," Trump said mocking the former VP.

The president also made light of Hunter's business acumen during his 102-minute speech at the target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "Joe's son Hunter got thrown out of the Navy and became a genius on Wall Street in two days," Trump said.

"Whatever happened to Hunter, where the hell is he? Where is Hunter? Fellows, I have an idea for a new t-shirt? I love the cops, but let's do another t-shirt. Where is Hunter? Where is he?"

Ever since the Ukraine scandal reports, Hunter has stayed out of spotlight. However, the former vice president recently said that his son will soon be joining him on the campaign trail.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, last month, initiated an impeachment inquiry against Trump after a whistleblower lodged an official complaint alleging that Trump abused his power to seek favor from the Ukrainian leader.

A transcript of the call released by the White House showed that the president asked the Ukrainian leader to investigate his political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden who is the Democratic frontrunner of the 2020 elections.

Trump, during the rally, also pushed the unfounded theory of Hunter making $1.5 billion in a deal with China: "Hunter, you are a loser... What you have $1.5 billion." The president then went on to compare his own negotiations with China as part of his trade war with the country.

"I'm dealing with people right now, the top Chinese negotiators, and Hunter, he goes in and he is meeting and he walks out with $1.5 billion. $1.5 billion!" Trump said. "These are not the same Chinese negotiators that I'm dealing with, I can tell you."

The Republican appeared to refer to the amount a Chinese equity firm BHR—where Hunter sat on the board—was attempting to raise. The money, however, was not being raised for Hunter's personal use. Trump, regardless, has asked China to probe the matter.

"And your father was never considered smart. He was never considered a good senator," Trump said denigrating his political rival and then added: "He was only a good Vice President because he understood how to kiss Barack Obama's ass."

The president also alleged that the Bidens got rich while America got "robbed."

"The Biden family got rich, and that's all substantiated. While America got robbed, that is what happened," Trump said.

Shortly after Trump's raging speech, his campaign promptly started selling "Where's Hunter?" t-shirts on their online platforms.
