Trump says Obama is neither 'handsome' nor 'a good speaker', Internet slams him for being 'fixated' on former POTUS

'I never thought he was a good speaker, personally, I really never did. Then, they say, 'He's so handsome. He's so handsome.' Oh, OK. Alright," Trump said criticizing Obama

During a rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania, on Monday, October 26, afternoon, President Donald Trump criticized former President Barack Obama, mocking the crowd size at the recent drive-in rallies that he has been holding in support of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's campaign as well as the fact that the media seemed to be fixated by the former president's appearance.

"You know how many people he's drawing at these rallies? Like, he's drawing flies. 20, 30, 40 [people]. Not quite this crowd," Trump said. "Oh, did you see the other day? Did you see the other day, Mr Congressman? He had 41 people, but the press never shows that. They show him speaking. And he gets up, and then they say, 'Oh, he's so rhetorically good'," the president continued.

"I never thought he was a good speaker, personally, I really never did. Then, they say, 'He's so handsome. He's so handsome.' Oh, OK. Alright." Soon enough, Trump's criticism was seized by Twitter and people started commenting on how Obama was better than the current president in so many ways.

Many of them even came up with memes to taunt Trump comparing himself to Obama. "Donald is SO much more handsome. Such a strong chin and chiseled jaw line," a person wrote sarcastically sharing a picture of the current POTUS with his double chin and a fatty neck clear visible in a side-profile.

"He is trying to make fun of Obama, his oratory skills and his physical appearance by bringing in something else which he only can do. He wants his crowds to say it so he can join them. He is not able to get Obama out of his mind at all," another said while the next commented, "Wow! I can’t believe trumpie even acknowledges this! Yes. BHO admittedly looks like a GQ model. And really- that is the severe root of Trump’s jealousy. So sad. Obama is much, much more than a pretty face: he’s competent, caring, kind. Of course none of THAT even registers w/DJT"

One user tweeted, "Trump is fixated on Obama’s everything! #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything." Another said, "He really wants to get into a crowd size contest with Obama? Massive crowds during a pandemic is disgraceful and irresponsible, especially when most of them refuse to wear a mask like their dear leader..."

One person remarked, "Sorry Donald, being president after Barack Obama is like dating a girl after she broke up with The Rock." And another wrote, "He cannot measure up to President Obama in any way, and he knows it. I think it’s the driving force for him."

Last week, Obama hosted his first in-person event supporting Biden, who served as vice president during the eight-year-long term at the White House. Obama, who is Trump's predecessor, has whole-heartedly supported Biden's current presidential bid after endorsing him during the Democratic nominee's campaign trail, and spoking at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August when Biden officially accepted his party's nomination to run for the Oval Office.

Apart from Obama, Trump also spent a large portion of his remarks attacking Biden on Monday, insisting to a crowd of attendees at an event held in Allentown that his Democratic opponent's proposed environmental policies would damage Pennsylvania's economy.
