President Donald Trump has lashed at actress Debra Messing a day after the 'Will & Grace' star sought the outing of Trump supporters in Hollywood who are geared to attend a prospective Trump campaign fundraiser in Beverly Hills this month.

Not taking kindly to Messing's tweet, Trump responded in a tweet on Sunday: "I have not forgotten that when it was announced that I was going to do The Apprentice, and when it then became a big hit, helping NBC’s failed lineup greatly, @DebraMessing came up to me at an Upfront & profusely thanked me, even calling me ’Sir.’ How times have changed!"

'Will & Grace' co-stars Eric McCormack and Messing had both taken to social media, calling for the outing of Hollywood's Trump supporters.

It was revealed on Saturday, August 31, that the Beverly Hills fundraiser, organized by Trump Victory, is part of the president's re-election campaign and will be held on September 17, the same week as the Primetime Emmy Awards, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Shortly after the news broke, McCormack and Messing took to Twitter to subtly slam those who planned to attend the fundraiser. Messing, in a tweet, said: "Please print a list of all attendees, please. The public has a right to know."

While McCormack wrote: "Hey, @THR. Kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx."

Hours after Trump's tweet directed at Messing, the actress fired back at the president with a “list of souls lost to preventable devastating gun violence," saying she will call him 'Sir' if he takes action.

"Now that I know I have your attention @realDonaldTrump, please read this thread— a PARTIAL list of souls lost to preventable, devastating gun violence. America wants universal background checks. The majority of Americans want assault weapons ban. Take Action and I’ll call you Sir," Messing tweeted.

The Trump fundraiser is set to be hosted by Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, RNC co-chairman Tommy Hicks Jr., campaign manager Brad Parscale and Trump Victory finance chairman Todd Ricketts.
